Maha Shivratri Celebrations by Hindu Foundation NZ
Dear Members,
Hindu foundation NZ cordially extends its invitation to everyone for the Maha Shivratri celebrations on the 1st of March 2022 between 5.30 pm and 9 pm. Venue 57 Hillside Road, Papatoetoe, Auckland.
The main event of the evening would be eleven times chanting of Rudram with Abhishekam (Ekadasha Rudrabhishekam)
This is aimed at the well-being and health of Mankind and also for the peace of departed souls of friends and family during the pandemic.
Rudram is one of the most scientific chanting and various research has been conducted to prove its benefit on Human health and wellness.
Rudrabhishekam gives peace and prosperity to the performer of the abhishekam, Lord Shiva is easily pleased (Asutosh) and Maha Shivaratri is a very conducive time when the highest spiritual possibilities happen and each one of us should avail this opportunity.
Program:
11 Yajaman (Couples) would be performing abhishekam to the Lord. Each Abhishekam would be for 18 – 20 mins.

The selection of Yajaman will be done on a first come first serve basis.
